Maintenance Technician III -Electrician

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

3rd Shift: 11:00PM-7:00AM *Starting at $30/hr.* + shift premium

What Will You Get to Do:

  • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems in support of manufacturing operations
  • Troubleshoot major mechanical and/or electrical problems
  • Complete preventive maintenance work orders on machines and dies
  • Assist with design changes for machines
  • Preform mechanical repairs to assembly machines
  • Fabricate and assist with die repairs for assembly machines
  • Assist with design changes for machines
  • Other duties as assigned

What Will You Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician-Electrician in a manufacturing setting, Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED, completion of trade school or formal training highly preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver's license
  • Experience repairing stamping, plating, and assembly equipment
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, air, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Knowledge of advanced maintenance processes and methods, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices and ability to read blueprints
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
