Manufacturing Engineer

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Provide daily support to operations to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost goals are met
  • Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing related process issues
  • Evaluate current processes and utilize LEAN principles to identify and implement improvements relating to the utilization of personnel, material, and utilities
  • Identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions for manufacturing process issues
  • Perform cycle time studies, maintain and update standard rates
  • Assist in maintaining the manufacturing bills of material, routings, and implementing engineering changes
  • Participate in the development of new products or changes related to current products with a focus on the organization’s ability to manufacture and meet customer requirements consistently
  • Complete documentation including process flow charts, PFMEA, work instructions, visual aids, capacity and utilization charts
  • Support quoting and acquisition process for new product and engineering changes
  • Maintain and update plant layouts
  • Work with skilled trades and manufacturing teams on process improvements to deliver consistent and sustainable performance
  • Visit equipment suppliers to assist in design reviews, machine commissioning and supplier acceptance test
  • Other duties as assigned

What Will You Bring:

  • At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in this area with exposure and knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, and product launch processes
  • College degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, AutoCAD or other 2D drafting systems
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred

What You Will Bring:

  • At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in this area with exposure and knowledge of manufacturing, industrial engineering, and product launch processes
  • College degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
