What You Will Get To Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production, to establish quality standards and requirements during the product development phase
- Conduct thorough design reviews to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements
- Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) execution and implementation - ensures proper maintenance practices
- Develop comprehensive quality plans and strategies for product launches, outlining key milestones, testing procedures, and risk mitigation strategies
- Stop production to prevent the manufacture of unacceptable goods
- Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System
- Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products
- Coordinate communication between product engineering and the testing laboratory
- Establish quality checkpoints throughout the product launch process to monitor progress and compliance
- Participate in the development of Design and Process FMEA’s (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Coordinate testing activities, including reliability testing, performance testing, and validation testing, to verify product quality and compliance
- Oversee the implementation of quality control measures in manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications
- Undertake special projects
- Analyze quality data and feedback from product launches to identify trends and areas for improvement

What Will You Bring:

3 years of demonstrated work experience in a manufacturing Quality department, knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Bachelors Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, experience working with ERP systems, Auto CAD
- Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
