What Will You Get To Do:

  • Lead cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and materials in a matrixed organization
  • Drive daily management systems Daily Management for safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) performance
  • Implement and continuously improve standard work, visual management, takt time adherence, and flow
  • Manage staffing, production planning, and overtime to meet takt and customer demand
  • Lead daily tier meetings and performance reviews; escalate constraints and initiate corrective actions
  • Develop and execute value stream plans aligned with plant KPIs and strategic goals
  • Champion Lean tools which include value stream mapping, kaizen, A3 problem-solving, Kanban, SMED, and 5S
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, first-pass yield, lead time, inventory turns, and on-time delivery
  • Maintain conformance with company rules and regulations
  • Aligns with the Safety Manager to provide a safe work environment and ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations regarding environmental, OSHA, and workers' compensation
  • Ensure adherence to run rates
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Coaches and develops other to ensure organizational success; identifies talent and provides opp

What Will You Bring:

  • Work Experience: 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including team leadership with demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams and driving process improvements while implementing lean manufacturing activities within an organization
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing or Business Operations
  • Certifications: Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and ERP system
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing applications and concepts; Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems; Knowledge of machining and assembly operations in a manufacturing environment; Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, engineering drawings, and procedure manuals; Ability to write standard documentation
